Professor Lonny Joseph Gordon who is currently connected to the Illinois State University – College of Fine Arts has notable educational credentials, fellowships, trainings and work experiences which demonstrates his knowledge in his craft and his skills as a professional who excels in his field. Lonny Joseph Gordon who continues to study and educate himself has acquired professional training in the visual arts and design which includes Mixed Media, Acrylic Oil, Tempera, Watercolor, Pastel, Charcoal, Crayon, Collage, Etching, Pottery, Calligraphy, Fiber, Photography, Film, Industrial and Graphic Design – all of which are under Media.
In addition, Lonny Joseph Gordon has attended several scholarly lectures such as “The Dance in Japan” at the University Forum of the University of Nevada in Las Vegas on April 21, 1994; “Dance of the Dark Soul – Butoh,” at the Third International Conference on Dance Research in Mexico on December 1990 where this lecture has been presented 8 times between 1990 and 1998; “Butoh and Performance of Sankai Juku in the History of Japanese Dance” at the University of Wisconsin on October 15, 1987, “The Japanese Noh Theatre and Dance” at the National University in Mexico on June 19, 1986 and the “Traditional Japanese Theatre and Dance” at the Columbia College in Chicago on April 18, 1986 where this lecture has been presented numerous times between 1986 and 2006.
