Compiling an Impressive Research Resume Comes Easily for Tudor Cisu
adminWhile most college students scramble to get the right research credentials into their resume by the time they graduate, Tudor Cisu, at 19, already has enough research experience to rival most upperclassmen and even a few graduate students.
Tudor Cisu, began his research career while only a junior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School in New York State. He took the initiative of asking a biophysics professor at Syracuse University if he could help out in some way with some research projects. That lead to work with the Movileanu Biophysics Research Laboratory and then an ongoing position as a project aide for the Spinal Cord Injury and Neurorehabilitation Laboratory at SUNY Upstate Medical University, both in Syracuse, NY.
In 2008, Tudor Cisu also spent a summer doing some “clinical shadowing” at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, before coming to Binghamton University and earning a place with the Beaumont Bioengineering Research Laboratory. Not bad for a college freshman.
